The Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center spans 65 acres and features 1,718 guest rooms, a 4.5-acre glass atrium, and over 500,000 square feet of event space. To maintain its structural integrity, waterproofing performance, and overall guest experience, a comprehensive exterior restoration is underway. This project focuses on addressing façade deterioration, aging sealants, and waterproofing deficiencies, all while ensuring the resort remains fully operational throughout the process.

Atrium Restoration & Waterproofing
✔ Sealant Replacement – Removing and replacing all sealants at glazing systems, including face caps, pressure bars, hurricane blocks, and exposed joints.
✔ Glazing Repairs – Inspecting and replacing damaged glazing units, cleaning and sealing gutters, and reinforcing perimeter seals for long-term weather resistance.
✔ Leak Mitigation – Applying high-performance waterproofing solutions to prevent future water intrusion.
Window Wet-Glazing & Sealant Replacement
✔ Perimeter Sealant Replacement – Replacing all window sealants at stucco, EIFS, and metal frames to provide a watertight seal.
